Thank you for all the nominations. The expert panel is now compiling the CuliQuiz Top 100 of 2026.

The announcement takes place on Monday 21 September at 3:00 pm in the Kennis Challenge Arena, during Gastvrij Rotterdam.

Who was eligible?

Anyone active in or for the hospitality sector is eligible. Think of:

  • Hospitality professionals
  • Teachers and practice supervisors
  • Foodservice or hospitality entrepreneurs
  • Suppliers or coaches
  • Bartenders, sommeliers or front-of-house

It’s not about fame, but about impact. Someone who really makes a difference.

What are we looking for?

An independent expert panel reviews nominations based on:

  • Contribution to the development of (young) professionals
  • Inspirational power and commitment to the craft
  • How someone brings others along or connects them
  • Practical examples that show what makes this person special

Note: it’s about what someone means for the craft right now. Not about a career title or the past.

What happens to the nominations?

If your candidate is selected:

  • They will appear in the CuliQuiz Top 100 of 2026
  • They’ll be invited to the announcement on Monday 21 September at 3:00 pm in the Kennis Challenge Arena at Gastvrij Rotterdam
  • They’ll have a chance at one of three special awards: Education, Champion or Motivation Award
