Who can you nominate?
Anyone active in or for the hospitality sector is eligible. Think of:
- Hospitality professionals
- Teachers and practice supervisors
- Foodservice or hospitality entrepreneurs
- Suppliers or coaches
- Bartenders, sommeliers or front-of-house
It’s not about fame, but about impact. Someone who really makes a difference.
What are we looking for?
An independent expert panel reviews nominations based on:
- Contribution to the development of (young) professionals
- Inspirational power and commitment to the craft
- How someone brings others along or connects them
- Practical examples that show what makes this person special
Note: it’s about what someone means for the craft right now. Not about a career title or the past.
What happens to your nomination?
If your candidate is selected:
- They will appear in the CuliQuiz Top 100 of 2026
- They’ll be invited to the announcement on Monday 21 September at Gastvrij Rotterdam
- They’ll have a chance at one of three special awards: Education, Champion or Motivation Award
