From Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 September, CuliQuiz ran the Kennis Challenge Arena at Gastvrij Rotterdam in Ahoy. A live quiz stage in the middle of the trade fair, hosted by Mounir Toub.
Every hour, visitors played along with CuliQuiz Live: the questions on the big screen, the answers on your own phone and the leaderboard straight on screen. No app needed, just a code.
Together with partners we created themed rounds: Japanese cuisine with Yama, kitchen equipment with HENDI, cooking techniques with Rational, and coffee and barista skills. Plus bar trivia, Rotterdam and hospitality, and hospitality today.
On Monday we also announced the CuliQuiz Top 100 of 2026 in the Arena. In the weeks before, players could already prepare in the app with the campaign Road to Gastvrij Rotterdam.
